Chapter 5 PASSIVE VOICE Langkah-langkah membentuk kalimat pasif dari kalimat aktif : 1. Pilih objek penderita dari kalimat aktif itu. e.g. John delivers the mail. Jadi mungkin untuk transitive verbs (verbs yang diikuti oleh objects) untuk diubah menjadi kalimat pasif. Dan tidak mungkin untuk menggunakan intransitive verbs seperti : happen, sleep, come, dan seem. 2. Buatlah objek tersebut menjadi subjek dari kalimat Pasifnya (passive voice). 3. Perhatikan Tense dari kalimat aktifnya dan kata yang menjadi subjek dalam kalimat Pasif itu tunggal (singular) atau jamak (plural). Tense harus sama. 4.
